Out West - Tuesday 4

Out West...

 Howdy Partners... welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.

Today let's talk about  the West.

1. Got some favorite Cowboy or western movies or TV shows you have liked? - I loveddd Longmire! Does he count? Otherwise I can't think of any cowboys :/ or even Westerns that I love.

2.  Ever been to a rodeo or horse show of any kind? - no, I never have. I would probably enjoy it, depending on the snacks.

3. Can you ride a horse or would you like to try? No I cannot ride a horse. I am not a real sporty gal and horse riding even for fun was way out of the budget for my family. I would try, how bad could it be? Just need a gentle guy or gal 🥺

4.  How would a vacation on a dude ranch suit you? It depends - but it probably wouldn't suit me. I assume the point of vacationing there is to take part in ranch life which ... I don't want to clean up after animals etc. If it's just a dude ranch in aesthetic only, I might enjoy it!

The Re-Occuring Dream

 Usually once a month before my monthly cycle, I dream about my ex. We dated from high school into university, then ended up in this super long on and off cycle. Last night, I dreamt of him once again. They all go the same way, we fight, we have some passion, but at the end - he never stays. Last night, I asked when he would come back to see me again in the dream - and he made all these excuses about the next time we would see each other. And that is how things went when we were slowly breaking apart, I never knew when we would see each other again. Our relationship is really deep in my psyche LOL. The dreams had stopped during the early part of the pandemic, but they have turned up again. 

We had a lot of rain here today, made for some very scary driving. You can't see the lines on the road and I was drifting in and out like a drunk! I cannot believe we're getting so much rain in the winter :/ I grabbed gas just incase the weather continues to be wet and yucky, and worse it may all freeze over. I am off to bed, in the hopes that my dreams are more pleasant!

 Clearly, I fell off blogging! Odd, I love to read everyone's! For now, I wish everyone a joyous and loving 2023. Sending love to Rhitter on her continued healing, and Kim (who I don't follow follow but I know her blog and know she is loved) and Hilogene who I definitely don't know but I know she is dealing with loss too. Sending love as we all get into this new year. xx

Here are questions to ponder for this week...

1. Are you happy with the way your life is going?

- NO. I need to make more, travel more, and deal with my anxiety :/

2. Are you planning any trips in the future? -YES! I am going to Vancouver, and I am so excited.

3. Are you reading anything at the moment or do you plan on reading something interesting? - Yes, I am reading on Mystic Lake by Kristin Hannah. Romance, sadness, etc.

4. What's for supper tonight at your house? - leftovers! I had meat and rice from Greek food we had at my brother's on the weekend - yummy :)

Well, we hope it's easy anyway.Welcome back to Toni's Tuesday 4!   Always good to have you here.Let's concentrate on the little bit of summer that is left  shall we?  We need to enjoy every season to the fullest I  believe.. what say you?Not much more of summer left so we better enjoy it while it lasts.

1. What do you like to do in the summer? - I love to read, go to soca fetes/ go to Caribana, see my family, eat etc. Maybe a nice drive somewhere!

2. What is your favorite summertime food and beverage? - I love nachos on a patio, and any sweet summer drink possible! :)

3. How do you beat the heat? - staying inside, AC on and a cooler (Sommersby) if possible.

4. What do you really like about the summer season? - the long and sunny days, everything just seems to be easier, and I love the warm weather!!

House and Home

 Hello and welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4

Let's share our home secrets with one another.   Maybe you have  some ideas other ladies would love to hear about.

1.   What household tool or appliance do you rely on a lot? - my kettle, I make tea twice a day! And the fridge, I'm always in and out of it, lol!

2.   Which laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dish detergent work best for you? - I'm not picky! We don't use fabric softner. Whichever is cheapest for the washing machine and dishes, I am down with.

3.   What soap do you like to use?   Where do you have soap in your home... bathroom, kitchen, shower? - again, no preference. There is soap everywhere, bathroom sinks, in the showers, laundry room and the kitchen of course.

4.   What is the secret to a clean home in your opinion? - it's doing little things every day, making sure things have a place. I don't keep it clean but  that is def the secret, LOL

Post Vacation Blues

 My vacation was very meh. I was too stressed about work :( I did pierce my nose though! So I can switch out a stud for a hoop now, which I will do before my sister's wedding next Jan. I am trying to support my  sister in her plans, she is not asking for help but I feel like I could be more excited for her. I am, and I am excited for my friend who is getting married too. 

Sometimes though, it just all feels a little much because my friend was venting to me that her fiancee didn't send her a sentimental message on their one year anniversary of their engagement. 😕 I mean, you're engaged! I got where she was coming from but sometimes I'm overwhelmed by it all I guess. I told my mom I have no plans to date, just doesn't seem to be for me right now tbh. I just want to work, enjoy my time off, avoid covid and be less stressed!
