A Variety of Questions for You
Let's do a variety of questions this week, okay?
1. Did you have a favorite cartoon program or character as a young person, or even today? - when I was younger I loved the XMen and Gargoyles? When we moved to Canada I fell in love with Arthur - and he is my favourite cartoon of all time, but Futurama is awesome too.
2. Can you whole heartedly give people a second chance or do you find yourself still worried about trusting them? - Yes, I can do 2nd chances. Ask the guys I have dated LOL. I try not to muddy the waters with my friends/family, so the less fighting the better. But I also have a strong sense of pride, and now if you upset me and we fall out, I will not reach out again (even if I miss you)
3.
Are there things/activities you'd like to add to your life or do you
feel you do enough to do, ,going on etc. to keep you satisfied? - I want to travel more :( I never travel, and life has just passed me by and everyone travels but me it seems. I also want to take more long drives, but I am so tired of driving, especially since the driving for my part time job - brief, but exhausting.
4. Can you live without your phone, TV, social media? I can, but I don't want to. Breaks are needed, but I learn too much from social media and tv. And I have friends who I need to talk to!
I think this pandemic has changed what people feel are important to them hasn't it. I love to travel but now I'm thinking why not give it a miss for a while - and then who knows if I will ever start up again! As for cartoons, gotta me Tom and Jerry for me!
ReplyDeleteI feel the way you do! I am giving it a miss, but I want to try anyway but safety is a big issue for me! Tom and Jerry are hilarious, always great!
DeleteHi JiCaLu! I used to love Casper when I was a kid. As an adult I am a fan of Madagascar. I am not great with giving second chances. Wish I had a softer heart. As for activities, I would like to sew a little bit. I want to attend classes in the Fall. And finally, I cannot live without my phone. I need it to do my banking transactions, keep up with my personal and business e-mail and look up things on the Internet. I can do without Social Media though.
ReplyDelete2nd chances are not all they're cracked up to be. It's a defense mechanism and sometimes it's best to let folks move on from our lives. I also cannot live without my phone! I hope you can do the classes and some sewing - keeping busy is always good :)
